Each piece maintains the same sculptural integrity and hand-finished precision as the originals, yet rests near effortlessly in the palm, or dangles playfully from the wrist. Available in select styles, solid brass hardware brings a warmer tonal register to Eittem’s signature forms.
Inspired by the summer sky and its celestial archetypes, Owl, Moon, and Bird, the Petites color palette follows the shifting passage of light from dawn through deepest night.
The collection introduces Eittem’s inaugural forms: Owl, Moon, and Bird. Each sculptural handbag is a three-dimensional art object, with function emerging gently from form rather than following convention. Every piece is individually carved from salvaged American walnut in our Manhattan atelier, then refined by hand over the course of weeks using traditional craft techniques. Each is numbered as part of the collection of limited works. Eittem handbags are enduring luxury heirlooms meant to be carried, collected, and passed to the next generation.
Eittem presents Lumen Alchema, a study in reflection and transformation. Three luminous metals—Aurum, Selenia, and Mercury—are revealed through the alchemy of light and craft, each finish imbued with depth and radiance in subtle equilibrium. Fit for special occasions, the series explores how form and finish shape the perception of light.
Combining salvaged American walnut, European alpine leather, and inlaid stainless-steel hardware, Eittem fine objects are created in-house by a small team of artisans. Conceived as sculpture, each bag is engineered to fit in the hand or stand upright on display.
