Visit Eittem

An appointment at Eittem is an invitation into the atelier. Guests are welcomed into our Manhattan studio to experience the collection in person, explore materials up close, and understand how each sculptural handbag is conceived, carved, and finished entirely in-house.

Experiencing an Eittem in person reveals qualities that cannot be conveyed digitally: the whisper of the walnut’s weight, the precision of the inlaid hardware, the way each form rests against the body. Appointments offer time, space, and conversation, allowing each piece to be experienced as an object rather than simply viewed as an intriguing accessory. Visits may also include a tour of the studio, demonstrations of craft, and an opportunity to meet our artisans.

What to Expect

Appointments are unhurried and guided by a member of the Eittem team. During your private studio visit, you may:

  • View the complete inaugural collection, including Moon, Bird, and Owl
  • Handle materials including American walnut, leather, and metal components
  • Learn about our carving, milling, and hand finishing processes
  • Explore bespoke and customization possibilities
  • Discuss acquisition, care, and long-term collecting

The Eittem atelier is located in Manhattan at 601 W. 26th Street, New York, New York, nestled between The Highline and the Hudson River in the Chelsea gallery district.
