Each sculptural handbag is numbered, archived, and supported as a collectible work. Eittem works occupy a unique position; functional sculpture that can be worn, collected, and passed down. Each sculptural handbag e is numbered, recorded in the studio archive, and accompanied by a corresponding card of authenticity signed by the artisans who created it. 

When you acquire an Eittem piece, you join a community of collectors who value craft, provenance, and functional art. We provide ongoing services designed to protect your investment and deepen your engagement with our work.

Provenance

Every Eittem is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that includes the piece number, acquisition date, artisan signatures, and materials, and is supported by a corresponding record in the atelier archive. This archival record remains associated with the piece throughout its lifetime and can be updated as ownership evolves. Provenance establishes continuity, authorship, and historical context, anchoring each piece within the Eittem archive.

Archival Records

Each Eittem handbags is recorded in our atelier archive, including its number, owner, materials, artisans, and record of care.

Lifetime Care

Complimentary care for the life of your Eittem will be provided when restoration is required due to normal wear and tear.

Certificate of Authenticity

Each piece is accompanied by a card of authenticity reflecting the number, shape, material, color, and date it leaves the atelier to join your collection. Each card corresponds to an engraved number hidden beneath the interior leather, and is signed by the artisans who crafted it. Each collector’s name is recorded in the atelier archive, along with its provenance.

Starting Your Collection

Many collectors begin with a single bag that speaks to them – a particular form, color, or material combination. Often, there are personal symbolic connections to a particular form’s archetype that resonate with the collector.
